We deceive ourselves by ideas of what lies after here
A voided chance to be the best at a game of chance
And you just needed here
A lone star looking back on what was lost
An epitaph of names
A memory of what we did to start the ending
An ending we man-made
And we thought we could this on own
They say that we’re the ones to blame
We have turned our lives into an oven
But we must find a way to change the shame we made
One last realm, this path shall lead us all
To find out for ourselves
To find it for ourselves
One last realm, this path shall lead us all
To find out for ourselves
To find it for ourselves
And I never ever wanted you to be
And I never ever wanted you to see
The person I’ve become
These lessons I have learned
A choice, a moment, we faced it, we took it
(And I never ever wanted you to be)
A time that failure was what we shouldn’t
(And I never ever wanted you to see)
A scream so loud but we didn’t choose it
(The person I’ve become)
Our fault
(These lessons I have learned)
Our Faults
A voice for the voiceless
We’re breaking the silence tonight
To finally find ourselves
To finally find ourselves
A voice for the voiceless
We’re breaking the silence tonight
To finally find ourselves
To finally find ourselves
A voice for the voiceless
We’re breaking the silence tonight
To finally find ourselves
To finally find ourselves
A voice for the voiceless
We’re breaking the silence tonight
To finally find ourselves
To finally find ourselves
To finally find ourselves
To finally find ourselves
This might be the band that displaces Metallica as my favorite heavy metal band! It's heavy and has social commentary, which are my two favorite things in music. flannel_bear
They say you can't capture lightning in a bottle the second time. Someone should tell those people that Z&A is Zeus' homeboy.
Fantastic soul metal. Grimmrobe
Thundering, arena-ready hard rock with occult-inspired lyrics and gothic stylings; the pinnacle of musical devil worship. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2019
Fearless Records comes to Bandcamp, featuring searing hard rock & metalcore, like the brutal new LP from August Burns Red Bandcamp New & Notable May 9, 2020
This album hits like a ton of bricks. I can't say how long it's been since a band reached me like this, but I can't get enough. The driving rhythm, the ghostly floating leads, the haunting and direct lyrics, the desperation in her voice... Powerful. Jaycee
